The frozens are amazingly delicious and the filet mignon and wings are some of the best I have had. Being a scratch kitchen makes all the difference setting Cover3 apart from other restaurants in Austin. Kudos to the chef for his attention to quality. The service by Eislee was perfect! “ We came here between visiting Dragon's Lair and a dinner at Lonesome Dove to kill time, have some drinks, and just banter. The place was clean, the waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. We just had drinks do no comment on the food, the drinks were solid and not too expensive. SHANA SAYS: My family and I visited Cover 3 recently just to kill time. We had a free hour before dinner reservations at Lonesome Dove, so we stopped in for a drink. Liked the ambiance. It's comfy and clean. Plenty of TV's all playing the Olympics. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. I had an espresso martini. It was a solid B Minus. Nothing flashy but tasty. Which about mirrors what I thought. A solid place, efficient and a good place to stop, have a drink, watch sports and hang out. The stars were tough as we didn't really stay long so get a great overall feel so went higher rather then lower. ”
“ Tried this place for a casual late lunch via our Offline deal. Food was pretty good - really liked the ranch in ranch chicken fingers to start. I only like tenders with a lighter style fried breading, and these were that. Then I had a Caesar salad with salmon and my husband had two sliders with fries. All good and came out fast. The waitress was very nice and on top of anything we needed. When I went to pay the check, I wanted to make sure I tipped her on the original bill, not the discounted Offline bill. Very strange though, when doing the match, the device's recommended tips were def way higher than what it said. If you just click 20% or 25% and don't do the math yourself, you would be way over tipping. Kind of strange so just look out on the bill! ”
“ Wanted to watch Game 1 of the NBA finals so we decided on this place. Loved the atmosphere. Plenty of TVs and great food. The service was excellent and we throughly enjoyed our time here. We arrived in time to enjoy the happy hour discounts. Started with cocktails. Rum and coke and Frozen Margarita. Both 10/10. For appetizers we got the corn ribs and a fried shrimp. Both delicious. For the mains we got the Green Chili Beef burrito 10/10 and the wings 10/10. For desert we got the Big Ol Brownie which was amazing. So for a fun night and to catch some sports in a place that has the right crowd, more mature and less rowdy, this place is it. ”

“ I've been coming here for quite some time for business meetings and dinners. So I'm going to point out their event spaces. We usually meet upstairs in their balcony room overlooking the restaurant where they will have several great apps to choose from such as sliders, wings chicken strips and tex mex items all served in chafing trays. The upstairs area has many couches and is for casual events. At the back of the house is another private room for sit down dining or business presentations. The back room can seat up to 40 people and there is a large projection screen for presentations. They do have a full bar that you can sit at in the main room or choose one of the comfortable booths for dining. In the main room, there are numerous flat screens tuned in to sports channels. However, if you choose to have a family or work event with your business or family, this is a good place to have it and their table service is consistently very good and so is the grub. ”

There is lots of parking. The place is clean and large. This was my first. It's a good place to grab a bite to eat. I ordered the Alandale. It's a crisp salad with lots of added ingredients. It is crowned with a grilled chicken breast. It includes bacon and walnuts. It was delicious and filling. The service was quick, starting with the host, who promptly guided us to our table. Our server was just behind and took our orders with minimal wait time. There is lots of parking. The place is clean and large. This was my first visit, and I'm petty sorry I will be back! ”
